Hi! I am Sahara J Marlowe, and I founded Lidia Lives Foundation now known as Lotus Girls Foundation in 2015 in honor of my late mother Lidia who passed away 1994. I believe that there is nothing more important to humanity than empathy, kindness and altruism.
Since then I have visited more than 30 places that orphaned or impoverished children live in various different countries/continents and have worked with local professionals and business owners to create ongoing programs that provide the children with workshops that teach them skills to prepare them with self-sufficiency, autonomy, sense of purpose, a problem solving mindset, improved mental & emotional wellbeing, break the cycles of poverty, while stimulating their creativity by filling the gap between education and social support.
MissionTo teach children living in children's homes and orphanages skills that enable them to develop autonomy that prepares them for a viable economic future.
